I worked on the pages of a collection of poems by Emily Dickinson, I shared with her for at least three years, side by side, the seasons with all their relentlessness and we were there, bigger and smaller, feeling the furious life, the domestic life, the lonely peaceful life, the light, the splendor of the colors, the shadows, the depth of “the less is happening the more is happening”, the sound of everything, inside, outside … a language was created, a different kind of writing, image that rises from the words, from the black of the letters printed on the white of the paper …
